In renovating her own bathroom, designer Elena Sobel embraced a style that was uniquely her own. “It has my idea of crazy and colorful, but it also has a feeling of calm at the same time,” she said.

This wall of graffiti tile adds a fun color splash to the room. “The funny thing is that more conservative friends come in there and really love it because it’s so unexpected and really cool,” said Sobel.
These alder cabinets replace the counter, which saves both money and space. Drawers, shelves and plugs allow the owners to use them just as easily as a traditional counter.
The water closet is a departure from the modern bath. Backed by nature-print wallpaper, the room exudes a peaceful sense.
