The second-generation Gridscape shower door from Coastal Shower Doors features a polished chrome aluminum profile arranged in a repeating horizontal bar configuration and can be paired with a selection of clear; satin-frosted; or patterned, tempered-glass options. Co-planar doors from Elmwood Custom Cabinetry are ideal for hideaway applications, and they also allow full access to a cabinet interior without having a massive 48-in.-wide door sticking out. Both doors are side-by-side when closed or stacked flat on top of each other when one is open – not one in front of the other riding on two separate tracks like typical sliding door hardware. New this year is the motorized touch-to-open concept, which allows the homeowner to either touch the door or remotely open and close the door with a handheld remote control.
The Formica Laminate Jonathan Adler Collection offers nine bold new color and pattern combinations for countertops, backsplashes, vanities, cabinets and more. The pictured pattern is Lacquered Linen, which is inspired by mid-century modern furniture. It is available in four colors – green, orange, charcoal and crème – and it features a glossy finish for a new spin on a classic texture.
The new Ambient Series from Franke Kitchen Systems offers a variety of faucets and complementary components with sleek, contemporary designs and water-saving flow rates – all at mid-range price points. Designed expressly for the U.S. market under the direction of product manager Lars Christensen, the new Ambient family offers consumers and designers more than a half dozen models from which to choose. Besides the 16-1/2-inch-tall flagship of the line, Ambient also includes prep and bar faucets – all equipped with a brass pulldown, dual-spray head that extends up to 21 inches.
The Kona ozone faucet series from Geann Industrial are the first of their kind with a patented, internally designed mixing chamber in the spout for the ozone and water to mix on contact. The ozone concentration is easily controlled by using a micro-generator system and a mixing chamber to ensure there is no over-spillage of ozone gas. The four-way faucet allows the user to have the filtered water delivered independently through a dedicated spout to ensure that no cross-contamination can occur between the filtered drinking water and the hot and cold ozone water.
Copper Cove vanities from James Martin Furniture are available in a variety of sizes and configurations and are made of 100 percent natural wood. The hand-finished units are offered with several natural stone countertop options and feature a driftwood patina finish.
Pera Tile showcased its new custom Atelier Pera line of water-jet mosaic tiles that can be molded to fit a variety of tastes. All of the company’s products are made to order and feature unique textures and natural-vein patterns.
Purcell Murray has partnered with the Italian brand, Irinox, to bring to the U.S. market, Freddy, the only domestic appliance that shock freezes and cooks, thaws and proofs, blast chills and heats. Its companion product, Zero (pictured), is a built-in, vacuum-packing chamber machine that vacuums 99.9 percent to retain the full flavor and natural taste of food.
