PMI's New Workshop

June 23, 2009

PMI’s annual Codes, Standards and Green workshop, will be held from Tuesday, July 28, 2009 to Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at the company's headquarters in Rolling Meadows, IL. The two-day workshop looks at the various elements that drive the design, sale and use of today's plumbing products.

Tuesday's session will provide a basic primer on plumbing codes, product standards, and certification. Participants will come away with a foundational understanding of the standards and codes that are discussed at PMI meetings, as well as a snapshot of the most important codes and standards that are used in plumbing products today.

Wednesday's workshop will offer an overview of the current state of green building programs, sustainability efforts and standards, and water conservation efforts as they relate to plumbing products. Environmental programs are having an increasing impact on the way plumbing products are designed, marketed and sold, and this session will look at the issues that drive this increasingly complicated portion of the marketplace.

Registrants can choose to attend one day or both days. Visit PMI's website for more information.
