Fagor America has created a kitchen installation at the Wired pop-up store in New York City's Meatpacking District at 415 West 13th Street. On display until December 27, 2009, the store showcases the latest technologies, from gadgets to products, that may contribute to a greener life.

Fagor's kitchen installation displays a range of appliances, including a built-in induction cooktop, 24-in. Black Art refrigerators, side-opening convection ovens and a stainless-steel cooking design center. Also on display is its portable induction cooktop and induction-ready cookware pressure cookers.
 
The company's environmental efforts include restricting hazardous substances in its manufacturing, applying for and receiving ISO factory certification for environmentally sound practices and becoming an Energy Star partner as well as a member of the U.S. Green Building Council.

The Wired pop-up store is open Wednesday through Sundays, from noon to 9 pm.
