Allied Stone is opening a new 30,000-sq.-ft. Carrollton, TX, showroom, which will allow customers to browse more than 500 different colors of natural stone and more than 2,200 slabs, ranging from granite and marble to travertine and onyx. An additional 13,000 slabs are available at the company's Durant, OK, showroom, which is located an hour-and-a-half away.

"Our showroom and service center is focused on one-stop convenient service," said Gerard Goh, VP of Allied Stone. "Customers can pick the stone, get it cut to their specification and then we can install it."

Allied Stone is one of the largest direct importers of natural stone in North Texas and Oklahoma and a full-service fabricator and installer. Its buyers find stone from around the world, including Angola, Brazil, China, India, Israel, Italy, Madagascar, Mexico, Norway, Peru, South Africa, Spain, Turkey and the United States. The new showroom includes a 120-ft. display of full-size natural stone slabs, allowing customers to view the selection of stone on a large scale. The company also uses computer imaging software to help visualize how stone will look when installed.
