Able to provide the high temperatures needed to sear steaks, or the ultra-low heat for melting chocolate, Dacor’s commercial-inspired, stainless-steel Epicure 36-in. gas range offers flexibility in the kitchen. The unit’s oven features four cooking modes, along with an accessible switch that allows users to toggle between conventional and convection cooking modes. The SimmerSear burners deliver cooking temperatures up to 18,000 Btu, and the continuous cast iron grates extend to the sides of the range to create a larger cooking surface. The grates sit on four rubber feet so they can be safely transported from cooktop to countertop without damaging surfaces. For safety, illuminated control knobs operate each of the burners as well as the oven, indicating when heat is being used by glowing blue.
