EuroCucina: The Art of Economics, Part 1
Perhaps it’s the economy or a residual effect of the greenwashing that, according to some, was rampant in the 2010 edition, but a back-to-nature vibe seemed pervasive on the show floor. Greenery was integrated into displays throughout, and most exhibitors showed at least one kitchen—if not more—in a raw-wood finish. Minacciolo’s Natural Skin (shown in the background) is a modular kitchen collection that mixes black laminate and metal with pinewood that has been exposed to high heat for durability.
