The Art of Economics: EuroCucina, Part 2

One of the pleasures of attending EuroCucina is seeing how kitchens are displayed to convey a brand message, attitude, emotion or just to attract one’s attention. Walking through the Marchi Group’s booth was particularly enjoyable even though ropes prevented attendees from getting too close to the exquisitely appointed vignettes. All were decorated for a cozy, lived-in feel. In the Nolita kitchen, that homey quality was helped by its transitional-leaning door style, as well as the mix of wood and lacquered wood cabinet finishes, a vent hood that doubles as a chalkboard and the inclusion of vaguely vintage-inspired appliances, hardware and accessories.
