Perlick Refrigerator Wins ADEX Award
April 28, 2008
Perlick Corp., a leader in luxury residential undercounter refrigeration products, has received a Platinum-level award in the 2007-2008 Awards for Design Excellence (ADEX) competition—the highest award level given by design professionals on the judging committee—for its 15-Inch Signature Series refrigerator drawers. "Perlick is proud to be recognized for the fourth consecutive year for its superior design and innovation," said Jeff Wimberly, director of sales and marketing for Perlick Residential Products. "Perlick is respected for its innovative designs and we are truly honored to be the first to introduce the 15-inch refrigeration drawers."
Perlick's 15-inch refrigerator drawers are joined by a refrigerator, beverage center, wine reserve and beer dispenser to round out the entire 15-Inch Signature Series lineup. These models look like their wider Perlick brandmates with stainless-steel interiors and full-extension shelves. The 15-Inch line offers a 700-Btu compressor and digital controls hidden inside to keep the exterior lines clean. Each model features a full-height door (on the non-drawer models) available in stainless steel, UV-protected insulated glass or with a fully-integrated wood overlay to blend with surrounding cabinetry.
ADEX is an awards program for product design of furniture, fixtures and finishes marketed to the design trade. Design Journal, the international trade publication for interior designers, architects and facility managers, sponsors the ADEX Awards. Judging is conducted by an anonymous panel of professionals, who judge entries in their respective areas of expertise.
