Allmilmö, the European kitchen and bath cabinet manufacturer specializing in customization, will open a new showroom on the third floor of the ‘C’ building in the largest design center in southern Florida, the Design Center of the Americas (DCOTA). Michael Garofalo, owner of the showroom, will represent the company in its second in the Sunshine State.
Allmilmö’s soft opening celebration is scheduled for July 29 during a building-wide open house at DCOTA called “Design of Entertaining.” It’s official opening will take place this fall.
“In spite of present economic conditions, we felt that the time was absolutely right for us to expand our business into South Florida if we could partner with the right manufacturer,” Garofalo said. “We recognized the need to have a significant competitive edge, and we found that in Allmilmö, the only European manufacturer capable of providing our clientele with true and complete customization.”
The DCOTA event will feature celebrity chefs, including Sam Gorenstein, Jouvens Jean and Jose Mendin, who will be presenting cooking demonstrations and tastings in various showrooms. Jean, from SAWA Restaurant, will be preparing a falafel and truffle tahini dish from noon until 1 pm in Suite C-362, home of the new Allmilmö showroom, which is located at 1855 Griffin Road, Suite C-362 in Dania Beach, Fla.
