Design Center Opens in New York

July 30, 2010

Arpa and Trespa have joined forces to create a multi-use Design Center in New York City. Highlighting the company’s architectural materials, the showroom was designed to be a space where architects, interior designers, and homeowners can meet for design education, project solutions, events and exhibits.

Two new websites, www.arpa-ny.com and www.trespa-ny.com serve as the virtual portals for the Design Center, allowing users to learn about new offerings or register online for programs. Among the current exhibits is the Curiosity Kitchen, a sculptural concept for kitchen cabinetry and surfacing, as well as the Mowing to Growing design competition winners. Upcoming events in August and September include a LEED certification workshop for construction professionals, and an emerging architects happy hour meet-up.

The Design Center is located on Greene Street in the Soho area of lower Manhattan and is open from 10 am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.
