Jenn-Air is introducing a new 24-in. built-in steam and convection oven, scheduled to be available this fall. In addition to the unit’s steam-only mode, it offers a steam-plus-convection setting to both crisp and maintain moisture in dishes. The oven’s 1,200-watt convection heating element is designed to evenly circulate heated air to ensure consistent baking results and speed up cooking times. To take some of the guesswork out of cooking, specialty timing and preparation modes include a Proofing mode that shortens proofing times for yeast dough recipes; a Steam Defrost mode that incorporates steam for gentle, consistent defrosting; a Sous Vide Reheat mode that provides the steady, low temperatures required to reheat frozen sous-vide food; and a Yogurt mode that makes it more convenient to make homemade yogurt. Available in Euro-Style stainless with a curved handle, the steam ovens include trim kits for seamless installation with a Jenn-Air 27-in. or 30-in. wall oven.
