Axor’s New Design Studio Opens in NYC

October 04, 2011

Axor has opened its first North American design studio in New York City’s Meatpacking District. The new 3000-sq.-ft. space, located at 29 9th Avenue, will be open Monday through Friday, from 11 am to 6 pm.

The new space, called Axor NYC, will showcase the entire Axor line of products available in the United States and feature individual vignettes of the Axor Starck shower collection, as well as the Axor Urquiola, and Axor Citterio collections.

“Our goal for Axor’s first North American design studio is to showcase the bath’s role as a living space where creativity and innovation merge with personal preference and style,” said Philippe Grohe, Axor brand manager. “In our new space,  conveniently located in downtown Manhattan, we can offer a wide range of professional services and exceptional bathroom solutions. Our state-of-the-art interactive displays give our customers the opportunity to experience our superior water technology firsthand.  The need for a dedicated New York City design studio is proof the bath is becoming an increasingly important part of people’s everyday lives. We are excited to be a part of this movement and feel that Axor NYC well represents the brand’s core values, and is in line with the high standards we set for Axor.”

Designers, architects and consumers can visit the space, work with a product specialist and create specifications for projects. In addition, the studio will host a wide range of events including educational seminars, interactive demonstrations and designer discussions.
