CWP Offers Upgrades Without Increased Price

June 15, 2010

Custom Wood Products has announced new product upgrades to its custom cabinets will not cost its consumers. Construction changes and measurement modifications will not equal price increases for CWP customers.

These upgrades include:
  • Front Frames adjusted for Popular Inset Styles: Front frame material on CWP has been adjusted to 1 ½ in. wide by ¾ in. to allow for larger door and drawer openings and make the front frame less visible in inset styling.
  • Mortise and Tenon Joinery: CWP cabinets will be constructed using this woodworking technique to improve durability and function.
  • Prefinished Interiors: The new interiorfinish will be a U/V cured polyester finish that is extremely durable and offers a smooth finish.
  • Increased Wall Cabinet Depth: Updating the standard depth of wall cabinet provides more interior storage room to accommodate larger plates with inset styling.
“Most manufacturers would pass this expense onto the customer,” Executive VP Patrick Byrne said. “However, at CWP we’ve been able to absorb the cost without raising the price.”

CWP is a custom cabinetry manufacturer based in Shenandoah Valley, Va. It has been in the industry for more than 40 years.
