Hansgrohe Celebrates the Power of the Shower

Hansgrohe has rolled out its #SelectHansgrohe campaign, which focuses on the positive effects of the shower and highlights the company’s latest Select products. Through the month of June, Hansgrohe will run the #SelectYourself contest on Facebook for a chance to win a Raindance E Select 120 AIR handshower.

#SelectHansgrohe begins with a question, “Where do you get your best ideas.” Hansgrohe believes it is in the shower and is filling its Facebook page with related facts and figures, polls and images. Users are encouraged to add their own ideas and thoughts to the site as well.

The #SelectYourself sweepstakes offers participants the chance to become one of 500 Select Ambassadors to win the Raindance E Select 120 AIR handshower. To vie for the prize, users must earn points, which are "unlocked" by engaging in activities across social media platforms.

The #SelectHansgrohe campaign is part of Hansgrohe’s effort to spread the message that showering is not just an everyday ritual. According to cognitive psychologist Scott Barry Kaufman, Ph.D., who has worked with Hansgrohe to study showering and its effect on human behavior, “The relaxing, solitary and non-judgmental shower environment may afford creative thinking by allowing the mind to wander freely and causing people to be more open to their inner stream of consciousness and daydreams.”
