Kitchen Tune-Up Honors Veterans with Free Franchises

June 16, 2010

Kitchen Tune-Up is offering 10 free franchises to honorably discharged veterans. This includes a waived franchise fee, exclusive rights to a given territory, training and the start-up package. The program will run until all 10 franchises are awarded.

Franchises in the following areas are available through the Veterans Program: Savannah, Ga.; Mobile, Ala.; Biloxi, Miss.; Baton Rouge, La.; Kansas City, Mo.; Memphis, Tenn.; Tallahassee, Fla.; Omaha, Neb.; Tulsa, Okla., and San Antonio.

“As a business owner and associate, I feel we need to do our part in showing appreciation,” said Dave Haglund, Kitchen Tune-Up’s founder and president. “We have had many military veterans involved in our franchises that have been successful. Their service background has given them the leadership, work ethic and teamwork qualities that are necessary in running a successful Kitchen Tune-Up business.”

Kitchen Tune-Up specializes in kitchen and bath remodeling. It has been ranked Entrepreneur Magazine’s No. 1 home remodeling franchise for 20 years and has more than 200 franchises in the United States and Canada.
