September 23, 2013

Laufen has appointed Javier Korneluk to act as its U.S. managing director with the overall responsibility of the Americas. Korneluk will be headquartered in New York City, where the company has established a presence for its global projects division.

“I am extremely honored to be joining such a respected company with its long history and well-known brand,” said Korneluk. “Looking forward to building upon that history and furthering the brand in the Americas.”

Korneluk has past experience working with a variety of other global brands such as Victoria & Albert, Blanco and Ideal Standard.

“As Laufen continues its expansion into the Americas with unparalleled designs, collections and offerings, we needed someone with a depth of knowledge and understanding of the manufacturing process, distribution strategy and overall sales management for this large and critically important territory,” said Alberto Magrans, senior managing director, Laufen. “Javier Korneluk’s experience fit perfectly with our long-term strategy. We couldn’t be more pleased.”
