PMI Announces Technical Workshop

PMI has announced its upcoming two-day annual workshop, designed to inform attendees with information and seminars. Offering a special presentation by PMI’s David Hagopian, the event will take place July 28-29, 2010 in Rolling Meadows, Ill.

Day one will cover the origin of modern plumbing and its terminology; material selection process and installation of products; understanding cross connections of waste and water lines and prevention of backflow into the water supply, and code development, harmonization, application, interpretation and
jurisdiction of codes.
The second day of the workshop will feature the application of codes in new construction and renovations, Building Information Modeling (BIM) and specifying plumbing products, and the presentation by David Hagopian.
