Villeroy & Boch announced that Kurt Raabe will lead the U.S. office of the company's International Project ream in his new role as Project Specification Manager for the Bath and Wellness division.
Raabe has been tapped to develop relationships with architects and designers in the U.S. and introduce Villeroy & Boch products into upcoming construction projects, with a special focus on the hospitality and residential segments.
"This newly developed position further reinforces the company's continued commitment to the U.S. market, and in particular the A&D community," said Stephen C. Kamp, general manager of the U.S. Bath and Wellness division. Raabe's role will be mainly focused on the New York region and possibly expand to a national level via specific projects and clients. He is currently a member of the American Society of Interior Design, the New York Kitchen and Bath Association and AEC Professionals Circle of New York City. He will also support the efforts of Villeroy & Boch's regional sales representatives, as well as dealers, in expanding the relationship between Villeroy & Boch and the respective local Architecture & Design community.
Before joining Villeroy & Boch, Raabe most recently spent four years as the New York metro sales manager for TOTO USA Inc., where he was charged with selling products, gaining new business and building relationship. Raabe also spent six years working for Bedrock Granite Inc.
