The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) has recognized Panasonic Eco Solutions North America with the first annual Spark Award for innovation in the residential building industry for its premier ventilation solution, WhisperGreen Select. Panasonic’s accomplishments were recognized at a media reception at the International Builders Show in Orlando earlier this month.

Spark Award winners demonstrate superior knowledge and expertise in developing cutting-edge products and services, embrace a progressive outlook and demeanor and exhibit a willingness to push the envelope when it comes to taking the home building industry to the next level. Award recipients exemplify suppliers and manufacturers throughout the industry who are committed to developing products and services that enhance building quality and livability.

Thanks to an array of advanced options, the WhisperGreen Select offers an all-purpose IAQ solution. Recognized by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as ENERGY STAR’s 2017 Most Efficient (fan only), WhisperGreen Select features two new technologies, Pick-A-Flow and Plug and Play, allowing builders and contractors to customize the vent fan for a variety of applications.

The Pick-A-Flow speed selector is available via two base models – 50-80-110 CFM or 110-130-150 CFM, and the required airflow can be achieved with just the flip of a switch. Four unique Plug ‘N Play modules allow for further customization, providing the unique ability to choose from multiple features such as multi-speed operation to satisfy ASHRAE 62.2 ventilation requirements, motion and condensation sensors for cost effective ventilation performance and compliance with the latest green building codes and standards as well as an LED night light that automatically turns on when darkness is sensed in the room.
