Ferguson Enterprises has acquired Builders Appliance Center, as well as Ar-Jay Building Products, Inc. The Builders Appliance Center will now operate as BAC Appliance Center, a Ferguson enterprise, and the Ar-Jay brand will continue under the new ownership, now operating as The Ar-Jay Center, a Ferguson enterprise.

Builders Appliance Center is a family-owned appliance dealer located in Englewood, C.O. and is the largest luxury appliance dealer in the state. Ar-Jay is a cabinet, lighting and fireplace showroom located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa serving professional contractors, remodelers and residential homeowners.

“BAC and Ferguson both share the philosophy that if you take care of your associates, they will take good care of our customers,” said Ferguson CEO Frank Roach. “BAC has a great reputation in the market for customer service and will be a great complement to our exciting Denver plumbing, lighting and appliance showrooms.”

In 2014, Ferguson acquired Factory Direct Appliance and Karl’s Appliance. The company will continue to look for acquisitions that integrate with Ferguson’s core businesses.
