Hansgrohe and Axor Brands Featured on NextGenTV’s "First to Future Home"

September 9, 2015

Hansgrohe played an essential role in NextGenTV’s (NGHTV.com) recently completed “First to the Future Home,” with host Ty Pennington, outfitting three kitchens and seven baths in the environmentally-aware, “smart” residence Pennington owns. Pennington oversaw the project and worked with architect Mike Rosen AIA and Palm West Home Builders to ensure that the end result was aligned with his vision of the home of the future. To illustrate what it takes to make a home energy efficient, weather and storm resistant and healthy, NGHTV and Pennington documented the construction process through several TV and radio broadcasts.

For the bathrooms, Pennington handpicked a variety of Axor and Hansgrohe brand products, showing how different collections can complement each other. In the master bath, shower products and faucets from the iconic Axor Starck collection and Axor ShowerCollection with Philippe Starck were chosen. In a neighboring bathroom, offerings from the Axor Bouroullec collection add versatility. These were paired with Water Sense certified Raindance shower products and a Quattro Green rough to help limit excessive water consumption. For the powder room, the Axor Starck Organic Single Hole faucet provided avant-garde design and a low-flow rate of 0.9 GPM. Products from the Metris, Logis Unica and Talis collections round out the product assortment in the bath areas.

No kitchen is complete without a top-notch kitchen faucet. For the main kitchen, Pennington selected the Axor Citterio Semi-Pro and Prep Kitchen faucets from the Axor brand, and for the porch and apartment kitchens, the Talis S2 HighArc Kitchen faucets from the Hansgrohe brand were used.
