Hansgrohe Announces Call for Entries for Second Annual Hansgrohe+Axor Das Design Competition
June 18, 2015
Hansgrohe U.S.A has announced its nationwide call for entries for the second annual Hansgrohe+Axor Das Design Competition. The competition celebrates the qualities or innovation and expertise in various contexts through real-world projects. U.S. architects and interior designers are invited to enter recent projects that thoughtfully incorporate Hansgrohe or Axor products to create innovative or inspiring environments, from hotel and restaurant bathrooms to private kitchens, baths and more.
“We believe that good design deserves to be celebrated,” said Hansgrohe USA President Erik Christensen. “Das Design was developed to recognize our valued industry partners and the ways in which their work sets the standards for the kitchen and the bath. Last year’s competition was a great success with outstanding participation from designers and architects from all across the country.”
The competition is open to projects that were built in the United States within the past three years (between January 1, 2012 and August 14, 2015). There are three categories of entry: Residential, Hospitality and Commercial.
Entry is free and can be done completely online. A jury of leading A&D industry professionals including architects, designers, leading media and representatives from Hansgrohe or Axor will select the winners. Entries will be evaluated against five criteria: the quality of the overall design of the project and the integration of Hansgrohe or Axor products into the scheme, the degree that Hansgrohe/Axor products enhance the design and functionality of the space, the consideration of the environment and sustainability in the design, the quality of installation and the extent of use of Hansgrohe/Axor products.
Entry deadline: Friday, August 14, 2015.
