Native Trails’ Amelie and Halcyon bamboo bathroom vanities recently received the Green Good Design award, which honors environmentally sound and innovative product designs. Native Trails introduced these vanities along with its Renewal Series, made primarily of FSC-certified Moso bamboo, in 2012.

“Bamboo has become one of our favorite sustainable materials,” said Naomi Neilson Howard, Native Trails CEO. “It’s incredibly strong but pliant enough that our product design team could enjoy great creative freedom in dreaming up these vanities. It’s our intent that Native Trails lead the way to a more sustainable world, so it’s gratifying to see our Halcyon and Amelie vanities honored this way.”

The Green Good Design award is sponsored by the European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies and The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design. This year hundreds of entries were received from 24 countries around the globe.
