PMI Switches Up 2011 Spring Conference
February 23, 2011
PMI is breaking from the usual format at its semi-annual conference by offering dual tracks this year, consisting of marketing and technical meetings. The conference will take place March 27-30, 2011 in New Orleans, LA.
The dual-track schedule is driven by PMI President Jack Krecek, VP and general manager of the commercial business unit for Elkay Manufacturing Co. and the PMI Board of Directors. “This is a significant departure from the traditional conference schedule. We are very excited about the new course of the meetings,” said Barbara C. Higgens, PMI’s executive director.
The spring conference will kick-off with an opening keynote by James Carville, also known as “the Ragin’ Cajun,” who has a number of electoral successes and a knack for steering overlooked campaigns to unexpected victories.
