Rutt HandCrafted Cabinetry Expands Presence in Midwest

July 21, 2016

Rutt HandCrafted Cabinetry has expanded its presence in the Midwest and is proud to partner with Drury Design Kitchen and Bath Studio to offer its handcrafted designs in the Chicago market. The new partnership aligns Rutt with one of the country’s most highly regarded design teams and provides consumers in the Chicago area with the custom, handcrafted cabinetry designs Rutt is regarded for in the kitchen and bath industry.

“Drury Design has been a fixture in the Chicago market for nearly 30 years,” said Jason Artus, Rutt vice president of sales and marketing. “They, like ourselves, started as a family owned business and along with their design team are now one of the country’s top kitchen and bath design showrooms. We’re thrilled to have them join our family.”

As part of this new partnership, Drury Design unveiled its new Rutt Ruskin Kitchen display at their showroom during its “Celebration of Taste” event. The Ruskin Design Series was created exclusively for Rutt by Scott Stultz.

The line is named for 19th-century art and architecture scholar, John Ruskin, who heavily influenced the Arts and Crafts movement, as well as the rise of Modernism. The Ruskin Series offers historical accuracy with an authentic story that appeals to high-end consumers. Details such as layered face frames, an interplay of frame widths and elegant faceted columns create an elegant effect that transcends a single style and makes Ruskin cabinetry appropriate for a wide range of aesthetics.

After searching for a new cabinetry line to complement Drury Design’s other industry partners, Gail and Jim Drury selected Rutt HandCrafted Cabinetry because of its long heritage in the luxury cabinetry world, “As someone who’s admired Rutt’s work for many years, we’re excited to announce our partnership with one of the most highly regarded cabinetry makers in America. Rutt’s Ruskin series, designed by Scott Stultz, is beautiful in photos. And, in our showroom display, all the dazzling details come to life,” explains Gail Drury, CMKBD and President of Drury Design.

Drury Design Kitchen and Bath Studio is located on Main Street in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, just west of Chicago.
