The Fourth Annual Voices from the Industry Conference Program at KBIS 2016

October 13, 2015

The National Kitchen & Bath Association’s (NKBA) fourth consecutive Voices from the Industry (VFTI) Conference Program will be held at the upcoming Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in Las Vegas, Jan. 19-21, 2016. The conference will offer more than 90 informative sessions including upwards of 70 qualifying for CEU credit from the NKBA. Some sessions also qualify for continuing education credits from other industry associations including the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB), the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) and the American Institute of Architects (AIA).

The hour-long informational sessions are grouped into 11 conference blocks over three days and afford attendees the opportunity to learn from their industry peers on a variety of current topics and trends. Each VFTI session is aligned to one of NKBA University‘s learning paths: Design & Inspiration, Focus on the Customer, Business Management and Sales & Marketing.

Newly introduced this year is the remodeling track – specific VFTI sessions have been packaged together for industry professionals who work primarily on remodeling. All remodeler track sessions are to be held in room number N221 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

“The variety of topics offered at the Voices from the Industry Conference program provide unique opportunities for professional development,” said Nancy Barnes, director of learning at the NKBA. “The NKBA is proud to offer such a large selection of speakers and presentations for KBIS attendees. Our hope is for attendees to leave with knowledge or new skills that help them advance their careers.”

Attendees can purchase a 3-Day, 2-Day or 1-Day VFTI pass for the conference sessions, which also includes a KBIS Expo pass. The KBIS Expo pass includes access to the exhibit floor of all Design & Construction Week Shows, including the NAHB International Builders’ Show, International Window Coverings Expo and The International Surface Event, as well as admittance to the Opening Session on Tuesday morning.  New this year are NKBA Member Group Rates for parties of six people or more registering for a 3-Day VFTI pass.

“The conference allowed me to understand the challenges and opportunities that exist across multiple segments,” said Craig Francisco, senior vice president of VT Industries. “I really enjoyed bringing value to the attendees and I’m hopeful they took away enough insight to create value back in their individual companies.”
