Victoria + Albert Baths Celebrates 20th Anniversary

February 10, 2016

Launched in May 1996, Victoria + Albert Baths celebrates two decades of manufacturing this year. Known for its ENGLISHCAST composite material, made up of Volcanic Limestone and resins, Victoria + Albert Baths today offers a complete range of basins, faucets, tub fillers, accessories and furniture

From small beginnings with just a handful of staff, Victoria + Albert now employs more than 300 people worldwide and has divisional companies in the United States, Canada and Australia. Each bath and basin is still made in the company’s wholly-owned South African factories and shipped from the Victoria + Alfred docks in Cape Town, while the headquarters is based in the United Kingdom. Globally, Victoria + Albert partners with a network of more than 2,000 approved bathroom dealers.

“When I look back to when I started Victoria + Albert Baths with my South African partners, I’m incredibly proud of the company’s evolution into a global business,” said Chris Davies, CEO of Victoria + Albert Baths. “With the recent introduction of faucets, furniture and accessories, Victoria + Albert’s reputation extends far beyond freestanding baths.”

The company commemorates its 20th anniversary year with a variety of events. New baths, basins, faucets and vanity units will be launched at Salone del Mobile in Italy this April, where Victoria + Albert will also introduce exclusive color finishes offered for the first time. A global “Soak and Stay” competition will offer the chance to win a stay in a hotel with a Victoria + Albert Bath, and a special 20th Anniversary Party is coming up in London in May.
