ICFF Hits and Highlights

May 21, 2015

This year’s International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) was held from May 16-19 at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City. Produced by Emerald Expositions, the publisher of K+BB, ICFF featured 165,000 square feet of exhibition space on two floors, a variety of events and features and several CEU-accredited education sessions presented by the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).

More than 700 global exhibitors showcased their innovative and latest products and trends, which included bathroom fixtures with “bling,” including gem stones, flashy rose and gold colors and eye-catching patterns; solutions for small spaces; unique storage for vanities; and intricate tile offerings for walls and floors.

On Saturday, May 16, 2015, Luxe Interiors + Design and ICFF hosted an opening-night party at the Museum of Modern Art, which included a sold-out crowd, live music and attendance of award-winning designers. On May 17, the ICFF Editors’ Awards were announced to recognize the best and most innovative designs at the show, which included such categories as Best Lighting, Best Wallcovering, Best Kitchen and Bath and Best New Designer.
