K+BB’s Design Award Winners Announced

We at K+BB magazine are excited to announce the winners of our 2013 Design Award competition, which recognizes the most outstanding kitchen, bathroom and kitchen and bathroom showroom design. 

Criteria included aesthetic merit, creativity, functionality/efficiency and innovation, and projects were completed between January and December 2012. Seven winners were selected: a first-place contemporary kitchen, first-place traditional kitchen, second-place kitchen, third-place kitchen, first- and second-place bathroom and first-place showroom.

“A heartfelt thanks to all of the firms that submitted projects this year – the judges had their hands full trying to determine the winners from such an impressive mix of entries,” said Chelsie Butler, executive editor of K+BB.

More than 45 outstanding submissions were reviewed by a panel of three well-known kitchen and bathroom designers, which included Pamela Goldstein of Pam Goldstein Designs, Tim Odom of Kitchen + Bath Artisans and Shirley McFarlane of McFarlane Design.
