Artisan Manufacturing Supports Breast Cancer Awareness with Participation in Real Men Wear Pink Campaign

September 6, 2016

Artisan Manufacturing Vice President Joseph Amabile is a participant in the American Cancer Society’s (ACS) Making Strides Against Breast Cancer’s Real Men Wear Pink campaign and fundraiser, and customers, colleagues and cancer advocates are invited to support the effort through donations or words of encouragement on Amabile’s campaign webpage.

“While pink may not be my go-to color choice for most of the year, I am a believer in paying it forward, and the Real Men Wear Pink program is a great way to show my support for people with cancer,” Amabile said. “This relentless disease has touched almost everyone in some way, myself included. Artisan has risen to the occasion to support our team, The Artisan Arsenal, and we hope others will join this important initiative. Any amount helps, and together, we can support research that helps those fighting cancer while raising awareness about early detection and prevention.”

Real Men Wear Pink is a distinguished group of community leaders raising awareness and funds for this year’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event. In 2015, more than 15,000 people walked in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk of Parsippany and raised upwards of $715,000 for Breast Cancer Research and Services.

Artisan will also donate a portion of its sales for September and October to the American Cancer Society in support of its breast cancer awareness campaigns. Information on Amabile and Artisan’s individual campaign goal can be found at www.artisanstyles.com.
