Nicolas Bos promoted to Van Cleef president, CEO

New York--The month-long game of executive musical chairs at three luxury jewelry companies--Van Cleef and Arpels, Cartier and Harry Winston--continues, with Nicolas Bos the latest top executive to switch titles.

Bos has been named president and chief executive officer of Van Cleef and Arpels in America. He was promoted from his post as the company's creative director, Van Cleef has confirmed. His new job title will become effective April 1.

He takes the CEO reins from Emmanuel Perrin, who left Van Cleef and officially joined Cartier North America as president and CEO on Jan. 1. Perrin, meanwhile, took over the Cartier post from Frederic de Narp, whose appointment as president and CEO of Harry Winston became effective Jan. 4.

Bos, who joined Van Cleef in 2000 as international director of marketing, will also retain his responsibilities as Van Cleef's worldwide creative director.
