BlueStar has introduced its Platinum series of professional gas ranges designed to transform home cooking. Features include two searing PrimaNova 25,000 BTU burners for concentrated heat, an interchangeable cast-iron griddle/charbroiler and the PowR oven technology for faster, more efficient heating. BlueStar’s open burner design ensures that heat is evenly distributed across the bottom of the entire pan, with no hot spots around the edges. The interchangeable griddle/charbroiler system allows users to place the cast-iron griddle or charboiler anywhere on the range, interchange the two components based on the day’s menu and enjoy the dual-zone cooking control on four unique surfaces. The PowR oven technology preheats the oven nearly 40 percent faster and provides a 30 percent increase in overall heat efficiency. The extra-large oven capacity can accommodate full-size commercial sheet pans and boasts a convection oven system. The entire BlueStar line will now offer a sleeker, contemporary design, with a one-piece control panel, smoother front edges, stainless steel knobs, as well as a full-width oven door and handle.
