Troy Adams Design

August 10, 2009

Drawing on inspiration from Hawaii and Asia, Troy Adams Design’s
FusionDesign kitchen is intended to be an extension of living and
dining areas. It is designed as two separate spaces—one to promote
socializing and light food prep, while the other, the real working
kitchen, is hidden behind closing doors. Resembling furniture rather
than appliances, the kitchen includes the TansuChill, a Sub-Zero
refrigerator masked in exotic wood (pictured), and a Total Cooktop, a
cooktop and sink with other appliances disguised in drawers below.
Based on Adams’ design philosophy, the kitchen highlights the
furniture-like pieces while camouflaging the necessities to present an
open and elegant space.
