The AGA Hotcupboard with Induction Top offers an integrated solution powered by electro-magnetism for an induction cooktop surface that is safe, responds fast and is easy to clean. With the induction cooktop, all the heat is directed onto the pan, and available heat is captured rather than lost around the pans perimeter.  Induction makes use of 90 percent of the available heat compared to just 55 percent with that of a gas burner. The Hotcupboard’s large induction cooking surface features touchpad controls on its ceramic surface including power boost, residual heat indicator, nine power settings giving instant response, a timer and pause feature, overheating detection and a child safety lock.
