The kitchen in this riverside home was designed to allow access to the spectacular views outside. A low-maintenance, earthy wood veneer was used for the cabinetry, and the flooring is stamped concrete.
An orange accent color is prevalent throughout the house, along with gray and white. The orange kitchen island looks out over the river below and is a great entertainment element.
Most of the lighting in the kitchen is natural – the homeowners didn’t want an extensive lighting plan that would overtake the space and consume it. Instead of a hood, a downdraft range was used so as not to impede the views, and quartz countertops finish off the look.
The low-maintenance master bathroom features a spacious shower in an open design, a soaking tub and floating vanities.
The floors and walls are made of porcelain and glass tiles, and mirrors reflect the outside into the space.
