Through this elegant foyer, a new build master bath exudes a unique personality. Designed by Corinne Chidester, Guillermo Bazua, and Mary Roles of Tuscan, Ariz.-based Lori Carroll & Associates, this master suite takes advantage of its curvy architecture with dramatic textures and materials.
“From the moment you walk through the master suite foyer you are captivated,” said Chidester. “Every surface is a paradoxical combination of smooth and shiny paired with chiseled and rough.”
Floating onyx benches offer another layer of luxury to the bathroom.
“For another level of warmth; the stone flooring was installed with radiant heat, which is pure delight on a chilly desert morning,” said Chidester.
The overall purpose of the radius design for the vanities was to exude a soft, casual look that would tie the vanities to the semi-circular walls.
Opening up the wall in the shower with four square cut-outs added light and visually expands the space both inside and outside the enclosure.
Limestone covers the shower from floor to ceiling. On the outside wall, textured limestone is installed vertically to draw the eye inward.
