Budget restrictions required Scott Dresner of Chicago-based Dresner Design to obtain used appliances to restock Bloom’s kitchen following destruction from an earlier fire.
Glass subway tiles adorn the backsplash, complementing the white-gloss Stosa cabinets.
White oak floors are stained with a French oak finish.
The small kitchen space lent itself to a novel layout for the island, which boasts honed Calacatta gold countertops.
The Grohe showerhead, body sprays and handshower each blend naturally to the bathroom’s ephemeral color palette.
Stosa cabinets are also used in the master bathroom. The white polish adheres to the light, airy atmosphere created in the new design.
The freestanding bath uniquely shares the shower space with mosaic floors.
The placement of the bathtub in the shower space is the standout of the project for Dresner.
