When a couple wanted their second home to echo their favorite Mexican village, designer Jane Cunningham, CEO and president of Las Vegas-based Room Resolutions, created a kitchen based around a colorful Mexican tile.
The tile the clients had shown Cunningham was a hand-painted porcelain tile with gray, blue and yellow colors and a floral outline. The designer used similar tiles as the kitchen’s backsplash and arranged them in a mosaic of colors.
This stone composite apron-front sink complements the Mexican theme with its copper finish and vine design.
The laundry room next door echoes the kitchen’s desert colors, Mexican inspiration and the natural materials.
“We loved working with these clients, who freely shared their desires of creating a space that provokes an emotional response from them,” said Cunningham.
