While giving their clients a classic kitchen that created a clean background for their food blog photography, designers Cara and Tom Fox of Salt Lake City-based design-build firm The Fox Group incorporated a variety of materials to keep it interesting.
In this working kitchen, functionality was required, so the Foxes chose marble-look countertops in durable quartz.
When incorporating two large refrigerators, the designers decided to keep it interesting by paneling one, so it blends in with the cabinetry along the cooktop wall, and letting the other one shine in stainless steel.
The Foxes added warmth and contrast to the white kitchen with floating wood shelves, ebony beams and a black barn door that leads to the pantry.
Adding a spacious pantry provided much-needed storage for the food blogger clients, and it gave the designers a space to incorporate more color and fun with a display of KitchenAid mixers.
