San Diego-based Jackson Design and Remodeling has a good reputation in the community, but yearly it was referring several hundred clients elsewhere who did not have projects with architectural or structural changes. President and CEO Todd Jackson decided to make a move to keep this business in the company and open up a second showroom, right next door.
Totaling 9,000 square feet the Home Expressions Selection Center is designed with 6,000 square feet of display space and 3,000 for office space. There is also a 2,000-sq.-ft. exterior space with selections for outdoor living.
“With hundreds of materials, finishes and examples on display, visitors can easily see, touch and experience in one place all the styles, materials, textures, finishes and accessories that will help the design of their home express their individuality,” said Jackson.
Three kitchen vignettes illustrate different price points: One is a typical $135,000 kitchen; one is designed with $90,000 and one with a $65,000 budget. “This is a powerfully effective way to help clients see what is possible within each price point,” said Jackson.
“Our displays and display walls were designed – often in collaboration with partners – to make it simple for clients to visualize the many selections for each design decision, helping to both clarify and expand upon the possibilities for their homes,” said Jackson.
