Winner | National Kitchen: Kitchen Distributors Inc & Tablesetters Inc.
The classic black-and-white color scheme is elevated into a sophisticated and elegant space with a contemporary twist. With an intensely graphic focal point and eclectic mixture of textures and patterns, this striking kitchen design embodies drama without sacrificing improved function and flow.
Winner | National Bath: Ulrich Inc.
Designed by Julia Kleyman, the combination of custom dark navy cabinetry and different shades and patterns of blue tile, coupled with polished fixtures and etched glass, create an eclectic yet elegant space.
Winner | National Bath: Ulrich Inc.
Clean lines and a symmetrical cabinetry arrangement ground the room; a refined blend of geometric patterns, mixed textures and a playful range of blue tones creates interest and visual connectivity within the space.
Winner | National Other Spaces: Easterly-Coleman Furniture LLC
Susan Easterly-Coleman designed this classic English-style gentleman’s library to include rich mahogany tones, a sweeping staircase and coffered ceiling to create a warm and inviting two-story study.
Winner | National Other Spaces: Easterly-Coleman Furniture LLC
Exquisite woodworking and fine attention to detail combine to create a masterful example of Old-World grandeur. A chevron-patterned floor lightens the space and adds a modern touch.
Winner | National Small Kitchen: Fredman Design Group
The dilemma: Within this beautiful, in-town pied-a-terre’s 1,100-sq.-ft. footprint, designer Susan Fredman had only 140 square feet of it to spare for the kitchen, bar and dining area.
Winner | National Small Kitchen: Fredman Design Group
She took a sculptural approach to the space and cabinet configuration. Using a high-gloss, bright white opaque finish on the cabinetry to add reflective surfaces and a contrasting matte black color, she was able to unify the kitchen and adjacent living space in this open floor plan.
Winner | National Contemporary: Atwood Fine Architectural Cabinetry
When the homeowner tasked designer Kris Atwood with creating a stand-out contemporary kitchen to match her furnishings, he immediately looked to integrate basic geometric forms.
Winner | National Contemporary: Atwood Fine Architectural Cabinetry
These geometric forms included a high-gloss wall cabinet, highlighted by integral lighting to create a graphic contrast of materials and finishes.
Winner | National Transitional: The Kitchen Company
Designer Gail Bolling’s client, an avid cook, wanted a clean, sleek, contemporary-style kitchen with lots of open counter space for preparing meals.
Winner | National Transitional: The Kitchen Company
The result: a traditional door style and trim details combined with rustic contemporary cabinetry in a range of gray finishes and textures, crisp white quartz counters and finished off with gold metallic elements to create a refined mix of subtle sophistication.
Winner | National Traditional: Renaissance Design & Renovation
Challenged to work within the confines of the existing footprint of an historic home, designers Kris Bilty and Jody Ryg used a combination of traditional door styles united by a classic black-and-white color scheme.
Winner | National Traditional: Renaissance Design & Renovation
The design includes a double island and a laundry list of customized details throughout the space to create this extraordinary kitchen.
Winner | President’s Lifestyle Award: Belle Kitchen
Brooks Gronlund, president and COO of Wood-Mode Fine Custom Cabinetry, chose the project by Tricia Bayer for its stunning use of classic inset cabinetry presented in a bright, inviting and modern layout.
Winner | President’s Lifestyle Award: Belle Kitchen
“The kitchen quickly draws the eye to the many design elements incorporated throughout from inset cabinetry and stately coved molding to striking lighting fixtures and the opulent tile on the backsplash,” said Gronlund.

Michael Rossman, COO and senior designer at Abruzzo Kitchen & Bath, designed this kitchen with the intent of creating a space that would appeal to every taste.
