Franke, the European manufacturer decorative plumbing, has expanded its Franke Design Boutique retail concept with the opening of a Miami-area location. Continuing the roll-out of the brand’s expanded presence in the U.S., this second Design Boutique delivers a tailored, immersive brand experience to the local market, bringing Franke’s culture, Swiss heritage and commitment to quality engineering and design to life for local designers, architects and consumers.

The Northern Miami Design Boutique celebrated its grand opening on March 13, 2018, in partnership with Farrey’s Lighting + Bath, a leading Florida plumbing showroom. The space emphasizes the art of entertaining through high-end, interactive kitchen vignettes designed to elevate the shopping experience and showcase how Franke products impact the functionality of the larger kitchen system. Luminaries on display include the Chef Center, Pescara and Absinthe.

“For both professionals and consumers, the variety of selections available in a traditional plumbing showroom setting can make the design process challenging,” said Oliver Bahr (pictured above), president of Franke Kitchen Systems, North America. “Our Franke Design Boutiques were created to empower choice through a curated, interactive selection designed to help guests easily envision living with Franke in their own homes and establish a personal connection with the brand.”

Throughout 2018, Franke will open three additional Design Boutiques – each in markets known for strong bases of professional designers and architects, including San Francisco, Chicago and New York. The new retail concept comes as part of a larger two-year expansion plan to grow the brand’s presence in the U.S.– one the European leader has identified as having tremendous opportunity.
