KBIS Match App Returns to KBIS 2023

January 19, 2023

The 2023 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS), the destination for kitchen and bath design professionals, which is owned by the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA), is pleased to introduce the updated KBIS Match, a powerful new matchmaking platform and mobile app designed to facilitate smart business connections and show navigation. An innovative event matchmaking app powered by artificial intelligence, KBIS Match provides networking connections based upon an intricate algorithm. The more a user interacts with the app, the better and more relevant matches they will receive. The mobile app also includes show information, event and session schedules, a show campus map and an interactive exhibitor floor map that provides wayfinding.

“We are excited to bring back the matchmaking platform and mobile app powered by Grip for our show attendees and exhibitors,” said Jason McGraw, group vice president of KBIS. “This year, we made some adjustments to provide a better solution for our attendees to connect with the exhibitors and other colleagues, as well as improving the mobile app floor plan to provide better wayfinding between exhibit booths. Staying connected is how this industry thrives and we believe this platform is a great way to add value to the KBIS experience.”

How it Works

Attendee profiles are imported straight from the show’s registration data. Once a profile has been created, registered users can begin networking with other attendees and exhibitors. The app will automatically make recommendations of relevant exhibitors, other attendees and events with whom attendees may want to connect – pre-show, during and post-event. KBIS Match allows for chats and to request meeting times/appointments on-site. Exhibiting brands and products are easily searched by keywords or by selecting a category from dropdown lists.

This free matchmaking and communication tool allows registrants to:

  • Search for attendees/exhibitors by filters (title, product category, interests etc.)
  • Send meeting requests to connect with attendees/exhibitors at the show
  • Message attendees/exhibitors directly

For attendees who paid for Voices from the Industry (VFTI) conference, the new platform will display the full on-site agenda for VFTI, and users can add those sessions to their agenda at the show for a more useful and streamlined experience.
