Lapitec Awarded GreenGuard Certification
September 8, 2016
Lapitec, the full-body sintered stone, has earned the important GreenGuard certification, awarded by UL Environment. This international recognition comes thanks to numerous severe tests on samples of sintered stone that have shown Lapitec is a material that does not emit pollutants, can be used in sustainable building projects and can be accepted by worldwide building regulations. Awarding institute UL advances the recognition of sustainable products and drive purchaser clarity by bringing trusted transparency to the green marketplace.
“The GreenGuard certification is a further step in the development path of our full-body sintered stone,” said Michele Ballarin, Lapitec director of sales and marketing. “It is a recognition that testifies the material’s excellence and will be an important driver, above all, in countries where there are very strict standards for environmental sustainability for the products used in building and furnishing.”
