Stone Forest Wins Product of the Year Award at DPHA National Conference
October 31, 2018
Stone Forest is pleased to announce that its Elemental Vanity collection has won the Product of the Year Award from the Decorative Plumbing & Hardware Association (DPHA). The award was announced during DPHA’s Annual Conference in Jacksonville, Florida. Judges stated that they were impressed by Elemental’s creative and flexible design.
“We are absolutely thrilled that the Elemental Collection has won this prestigious award,” said Michael Zimber, founder and president of Stone Forest. “Elemental was two years in the making, and the recognition by the design community, our dealers and peers make the journey all the more satisfying. A special shout out to partner Michael Cahill for his role as lead designer for the collection.”
Elemental is a new type of bathroom collection and a continuation of Stone Forest’s creative examination of styles and mix of materials. The vanities are comprised of brass legs with knurled fittings supporting a combination of stone, wood and steel components. The brass legs are designed to go through each component allowing the designer to put together a vanity or storage element to suit their storage needs. The brass running through each drawer is then visible when opened providing a nice surprise and a solid tie to the modular nature of the system. This unique modular concept allows designers to combine integral stone sinks, wood drawers and steel or wood shelving in many combinations to create bath consoles and stand-alone storage systems.
The legs and fittings are available in either aged brass or polished nickel, and the wood drawers can be custom painted if the standard blue does not suit the room. The Elemental Collection is available as a single or double vanity with a choice of two Stone Forest sinks: Ventus and Terra.
