Revealing Visual Priorities in Bathroom Design

January 24, 2022
New research from UK home insurance service provider Confused.com has revealed the design elements people really notice when they visit the bathroom. Eye-tracking software was used to identify the total number of times people looked at different components of the bath. Fixation rankings were determined by the number of total views for each element. The average amount of time people looked at each area of the room was also recorded, and where elements had the same number of total views, viewing durations were used to rank elements.
