The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has named Air King as a 2012 Energy Star Partner of the Year—Product Manufacturer for its contribution to reducing greenhouse gas emissions by manufacturing energy-efficient products and helping to educate consumers about those products.

Air King, an Energy Star partner since 2002, has continued to expand its lines of Energy Star-qualified exhaust fans and range hoods, which include the BFQF Snap-In installation exhaust fans, ADA-compliant range hoods and the energy-efficient UL555C Fire Rated series exhaust fans. Additionally, through its “Change the World, Start with Energy Star” pledge campaign, the comany was able to save more than 4.3 million pounds of greenhouse gasses.

“Our partnership with Energy Star allows us to provide our customers with quality products that also help them save energy and money,” said Jeff Kenkelen, president of Air King. “We continue to see customer demand for high-performing products that also help protect the environment.”
