Architectural Surfaces Group Established as New Parent Company of Three Brands

The consolidated company comprised of Architectural Granite & Marble, Pental Surfaces and Modul Marble announces its new joint parent company name, Architectural Surfaces Group (ASG). The new parent company is strengthening the organization via operational improvements, allowing the brands to focus on delivering service to their customers. Each business will continue to operate under its respective brand.
The new company name, ASG, encompasses all offerings and products from the brands it represents. The logo conveys the coming together of different companies for a combined platform that benefits from the tenured relationships and established reputations of the existing entities.
“The combination of AG&M, Pental and Modul has allowed us to learn from each other’s strengths and utilize efficiencies from our combined scale to better serve our customers with innovative products and value-added service solutions,” said Sunil Palakodati, CEO of ASG.
Each entity is a distributor of interior surfaces with a total of 13 locations across the United States. Headquartered in Seattle, Washington, Pental Surfaces is an independent value-added distributor of natural stone, engineered stone and tile serving the Western United States. Pental has five premium locations in Seattle, Tacoma, Portland, Van Nuys, and Denver with showrooms and slab galleries.
AG&M, based outside of Austin, Texas, is an importer and distributor of natural stone, engineered stone and related products used in residential construction, commercial construction and remodeling. AG&M’s showrooms serve customers in Austin, San Antonio, Oklahoma City, Nashville and Raleigh, NC.
Modul Marble is a supplier of natural stone, marble and quartz slabs with locations in Sun Valley and Anaheim, California, as well as Charlotte, NC. Modul has a vast inventory of material imported from regions across the world.
