Dering Hall, an online resource for designers and consumers to discover and connect to interior design products and professionals, has launched kitchen and bath as a featured category. Kitchen and Bath will be featured among other design categories like Furnishings and Lightings. For designers looking for the latest kitchen and bath products for their projects, this addition will make finding what they need easier and faster.

“According to a recent survey, 96 percent of design professionals offer kitchen and bath as part of their suite of services,” said Peter Sallick, Dering Hall founder. “And they are investing in kitchens, with an average budget of $95,000 for a kitchen redesign. With this level of activity and investment, it just makes sense for Dering Hall to include kitchen and bath as a featured category.”

The survey additionally showed that 94 percent of respondents hired professional help to renovate their kitchens. Countertops and cabinets are the most common features to be replaced in a kitchen model. While 42 percent of respondents decided to remodel their kitchen because they moved to a new home, traditional style was most popular.

In anticipation of the launch, major kitchen brands have signed onto Dering Hall.  Products from Americh, Artistic Tile, Matouk and California Faucets, among others, will now be featured as part of the Dering Hall kitchen and bath category.

“Kitchen redesigns are some of the most common design projects in a home,” said Alan Blaustein, Dering Hall CEO.  “These brands want to get in front of designers making the key purchase decisions around these projects.”

Users will be able to search kitchen and bath products by numerous subcategories.  Everything from countertops to appliances to fittings and faucets will be available to view, sort, share and download.

“This is going to make sourcing kitchen products a lot easier,” said Sallick.
